Founding Artist Programme Terms
OnlineArtz is inviting a small group of 40 artists across Romania, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom, 10 artists from each country, to help shape the platform during its early stage. This is not an influencer, ambassador or promotional agreement.
1. What you receive
A reduced Founding Artist commission rate of 12% on sales, instead of the standard OnlineArtz rate of 17%. See section 2.
Complimentary Premium membership for six months, currently priced at €19.99/month.
Access to Premium features available during the programme, including priority support, AI-assisted text for your listings and AI translation.
The Premium artwork allowance available on the platform, currently up to 150 artworks.
Founding Artist status associated with your account.
Enhanced visibility and priority consideration for curated collections, featured artist areas, editorial content and other relevant discovery opportunities.
Early access, where possible, to selected new features so you can help us test and improve them.
Access to a dedicated Founding Artist WhatsApp group for your country, together with members of the OnlineArtz team.
There is no subscription charge during the six-month Founding Artist period and no payment card is held on file. At the end of the programme you can choose whether to continue with a paid OnlineArtz plan. There is no obligation to subscribe and no automatic paid renewal. Founding Artist status stays with your account after the programme ends, whether or not you continue on a paid plan.
2. Your Founding Artist commission rate
Founding Artists sell at a commission rate of 12% instead of the standard OnlineArtz rate of 17%. Commission is calculated on the artwork price only. Shipping is set separately by you and is not included.
The 12% rate applies from the start of the programme and continues for as long as you hold an active Premium plan without a break. We will remind you before the six months end so you can decide whether to continue. If your Premium plan lapses, is cancelled or is downgraded, the standard rate applies from that point and the Founding Artist rate is lost permanently. It cannot be reinstated by taking up Premium again later.
The rate belongs to your account and cannot be transferred to another artist or account.
If OnlineArtz changes the standard commission rate in future, your Founding Artist rate stays at 12%.
Payouts are made monthly on the 5th, or the next working day if the 5th falls on a weekend or public holiday. Payments are sent to the bank account connected to your Stripe account.
You keep the artworks you have already uploaded if you move to a different plan after the programme ends.
3. What we ask from you
Create and maintain a genuine artist profile.
Connect a Stripe account. Stripe handles payouts and needs to be set up before you can upload artwork. Stripe asks for your bank details and identity information directly, and OnlineArtz never sees or stores them.
Upload a representative selection of your artworks.
Explore the platform naturally and try the features that are relevant to you.
Tell us when something is confusing, difficult, broken or could work better.
Join the dedicated OnlineArtz Founding Artist WhatsApp group for your country. This is the programme's main channel for feedback, questions, feature discussions and updates, so taking part means being in the group.
Take part, where practical, in occasional short feedback requests, surveys or conversations, and test selected new features.
Keep pre-release features confidential, as described in section 8.
Look after your own tax and accounting on any sales you make.
We want participation to feel easy and useful alongside your work as an artist. There is no fixed time commitment or feedback quota. We simply ask you to engage with the platform during the programme and share honest, constructive feedback when you have something useful to tell us.
4. No promotional obligation
You will not be required to:
Promote OnlineArtz on social media or to your followers or collectors.
Create posts, videos, testimonials or other promotional content.
Participate in advertising.
Sell a minimum number of artworks or achieve sales or engagement targets.
If we would like to involve you in a marketing campaign, interview, testimonial or other promotional activity, we will ask separately and you are free to say yes or no. Declining has no effect on your place in the programme or your visibility on the platform.
5. Your artwork remains yours
You retain ownership and copyright in the artwork, photographs, descriptions and other original material you upload to OnlineArtz.
By uploading content, you give OnlineArtz permission to display and technically process that content as necessary to operate your profile, listings and the OnlineArtz platform. Participation in the programme does not transfer ownership of your artwork or intellectual property to OnlineArtz.
Any use of your artwork beyond the normal operation and promotion of your OnlineArtz listing or platform presence, including advertising or other commercial use, requires your written permission.
If you leave OnlineArtz or your account is closed, your listings are removed from the platform.
6. Feedback and WhatsApp groups
Feedback may be shared through the country WhatsApp group, directly with the OnlineArtz team, through surveys or during feedback conversations. Suggestions, ideas, usability observations and technical feedback may be used by OnlineArtz to develop and improve the platform.
OnlineArtz may implement ideas or suggestions arising from Founding Artist feedback without creating a payment or ownership obligation. We will not publicly attribute a private comment or use it as a testimonial without your permission.
Participation in your country's WhatsApp group forms part of the programme. There is a separate group for each country, run in your own language, with members of the OnlineArtz team in it, and the group is informal in tone. Other group members may be able to see the name, profile information and phone number associated with your WhatsApp account. Please avoid sharing confidential or sensitive personal information in the group.
7. Founding Artist visibility
During the programme, OnlineArtz may provide Founding Artists with enhanced visibility through curated selections, discovery pages, editorial features, Founding Artist identification or other relevant placements. Selection and positioning may vary according to artwork, relevance, platform design and future product developments, and do not guarantee a specific permanent ranking, number of views or sales.
8. Confidential early features
From time to time, you may receive access to features that have not yet been publicly launched. If OnlineArtz identifies something as confidential or pre-release, we ask that you do not publicly share screenshots, technical information or details about that feature until it has been released or OnlineArtz confirms that it can be shared.
9. Leaving or ending the programme
Participation is voluntary. You may leave the Founding Artist Programme at any time by contacting OnlineArtz.
OnlineArtz may suspend, change or end the Founding Artist Programme, or an individual artist's participation in it, at any time and at its sole discretion, without being required to provide a reason.
If the programme or your participation ends before the six-month period is completed, complimentary Premium access and Founding Artist programme benefits may end at the same time, including the reduced commission rate. Ending participation does not affect your ownership of your artwork or intellectual property.
10. Relationship with OnlineArtz
The Founding Artist Programme does not create an employment, partnership, agency or paid consultancy relationship between the artist and OnlineArtz. Founding Artists are independent artists participating voluntarily in an early platform feedback programme.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected through the programme will be handled in accordance with the OnlineArtz Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements. Feedback may be reviewed internally by the OnlineArtz team and relevant technology or product partners involved in developing the platform.
12. Limitation of liability
The Founding Artist Programme and access to OnlineArtz are provided on an early-stage basis. While OnlineArtz will use reasonable care in operating the platform, features may change, be temporarily unavailable, contain errors or be discontinued as the platform develops.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OnlineArtz will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from participation in the programme, including loss of opportunity, anticipated sales, revenue, data or visibility. Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. Acceptance
Selected artists will receive a Founding Artist Agreement setting out these terms. Your participation in the programme begins once you sign and return it to us.
Welcome to the founding community. Your art. Your perspective. Help us build OnlineArtz around artists.
OnlineArtz is operated by Artz Ventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16435950.
